Our Candle Making Process

A quality candle does not happen by accident, it’s a careful work of art that comes with countless hours of wick testing, to ensure an even burn, and fragrance testing, to guarantee a beautiful scent throw.

We are proud to share our process with you... not for you to try to make your own candles, but so you have an appreciation of the art.

  1. We begin with 100% soy wax, a sustainable and renewable recourse that emits no toxins and burns clean.

  2. After rigorous wick testing, we have found an ideal wick made with a cotton-core that burns eco-friendly.  These wicks get glued to the bottom of each vessel.

  3. Once the wax is melted to the perfect temperature, we can begin mixing in the premium fragrance oils.  We work closely with our fragrance suppliers, who share our passion for clean and chemical free fragrance oils, to provide oils that have no phthalates, hormone disrupters or any of the prop 65 ingredients banned in California.

  4. We let the fragranced wax cool to pouring temperature and then hand-pour in small batches.

  5. Our candles cure overnight before cutting the wicks and stamping the packaging, then it’s one more quality check before boxing them up.

  6. The candles cure on the shelf for 1-2 weeks, which ensures the fragrance is at it’s best for you all to enjoy!
